Driving in Poland – Part 2

February 3, 2013 in Basic Information, General, Leisure, Polish Matters, Transport, Travelling Poland

In Part 1 of my small series about driving in Poland I wrote much about drinking and driving, the legal alcohol levels and the penalties one can face when caught behind the wheel after a few drinks. Now, I’d like to go a bit through the Polish road system and rules, which may or may not be a little different than what you might be used to back at home. I hope that this series proves useful to some of you – please drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Poland is no different, and Polish beer is becoming more and more appreciated by people locally and worldwide. Let’s take a quick look at the main beer brands out there (so you know what to drink) and the beer group corporations which run the business (so you can invest in your favourite).

I focused on Warsaw radio stations because there are many (a total of 33 if I’m not mistaken) and the popular ones can be found all over Poland (although under different frequencies).

As much as I love Poland, there will be times when I have to complain or warn you from certain issues. Unfortunatelly, driving in Poland is one of them and I will have to write at least a few posts on the subject as there are many, many things which require consideration.
